Best beaches in Orihuela Costa
1. Punta Prima
What we like most about Punta Prima is the accessibility work that has been carried out over the last few years. It was installed a lift so that people with reduced mobility can easily access the building..
The orography of the terrain, with steep slopesThe access was complicated, but through this lift and different ramps we can all enjoy Punta Prima.
On the other hand, it is a small covewhite sandy beach, clear waters with lifeguard service in high season
There are also sun loungers and parasols for hire.
2. La Caleta
Situated between the marina and the cape, it seems to us to be some of the best beaches in Orihuela to go with children.
Since being in between these two spaces its waters are very calm.
As it is also close to the breakwater, you can better enjoy a day at the beach when it is windy, it is very sheltered.
It has a service of lifeguard and Red Cross postThere are also several beach bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
3. Captain's Cove
A beach with a particular charmr, we think it's a great option because as well as being able to relax on the sand, sunbathe and swim, it's also good for doing diving and snorkelling activities.
It has fine white sand, which makes it a very comfortable beach.
The only area that is normally signposted to avoid the one next to the Islote del Carmen because sometimes there are currents.
4. La Zenia Beach
Surrounded by the promenade we can find La Zenia Beach, for us one of the best beaches in Orihuela Costa, also known as Cala Bosque.
It is the ideal place to spend your holidays because of its white sand and calm waters, as well as all the services it offers.
The atmosphere is calm So it's easy to spend a nice family day there, something that can sometimes be a bit overwhelming on holiday.
