Some of the most famous coastal areas are: Costa Brava, Costa Blanca, Costa Calida and Costa Verde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Costa Brava<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong>It is the Catalan coast. It is rocky and belongs to the Mediterranean Sea. <strong>Its temperatures are pleasant and its waters sometimes have strong swells. <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Costa Blanca<\/strong>. It is, together with the Costa Calida or Costa del Sol, the <strong>number one tourist destination in Spain and the world.<\/strong> Its waters are crystal clear, the sand on its beaches is white and the temperature is pleasant. <strong>It has the highest number of blue flags in the European Union.<\/strong> (recognition given to beaches for their quality).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Green Coast<\/strong>. It is the coast of northern Spain. <strong>It is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and has great natural landscapes.<\/strong> and many cliffs.
